Veteran batsman Ross Taylor bagged the prestigious New Zealand Cricketer of the Year award on Friday, winning the Sir Richard Hadlee Medal for the third time for excelling across formats. He scored 1389 runs in the last season in all formats and was an integral member of the New Zealand team which reached the World Cup final in July.
